This is the replacement sensitizer for the Argyrotype kit.
This silver-based sensitising solution, coated onto a quality art paper creates a sun print.
Exposure is by natural sunlight (you may need a UV light source for the winter months or for speedier exposure) and development is in water with fixation using a simple hypo solution.
Argyrotype prints are warm toned giving good contrast and midtone definition. Being silver based they can then be toned and dyed as they would have been in the early days. You make all images are made by the contact system, where the image depends on a negative of the right size.
The 50ml. of sensitising solution is enough for 60 8x10 prints, we recommend the Adox paper if you need paper to coat on.
