Ilford Washaid is a hypo-eliminator formulatedto aid the efficient removal of the thiosulphate by-products of fixation by ion exchange. It isparticularly useful in speeding up the washing offibre based papers and is designed to be used with the optimum permanence sequences for all fibre-based papers.It can also be used to aid the rapid washing of most black and white films thereby saving both time and water. It is particularly useful if a hardening fixer has been used although mosst modern fixers like Hypam are now non-hardening. The one litre concentrate dilutes 1+4 to make a capacity of 5 litres.

"I bought this washaid for another use it has proved to be effective and cheaper than other brands and retailers.
