Product Description

This accessory is an effective and economical way of making your exposure correct in all lighting conditions but especially when dealing with extremes of calibration.

Typically, light meters and cameras calculate the average image to have the same amount of reflected light at 18% grey. However, this measurement can be out when your subject is very light (or dark), e.g. a white shirt against a dark background could often be underexposed as a light grey.

The Delta Grey Card has been printed with pigment applied to achieve the same 18% grey as the one your meter reads typically. So placing the card in front of your camera in the direction of where the sun is falling, will correct this error, thereby ensuring correct exposure.

The 8 x 10-inch stiff card works equally well in the studio or for outdoor shots and comes with a handy, printed guide to the Zone System on the rear.

Delivery
