Product Description
CineStill BwXX 35mm is a classic panchromatic black and white negative film for outdoor and studio use. It has a variable base sensitivity of ISO 250 under daylight (5500K) and ISO 200 under tungsten lighting (3200K), and you can rate it up to ISO 1600 with the appropriate processing compensation.
Ideal for low light situations, this film delivers rich blacks and high contrast images while also providing very high sharpness, a broad tonal range, and a fine grain structure. It is an excellent choice for those looking for a classic film stock to fill the void left by the discontinuation of Kodak Plus-X or TXP320. This film stock is left relatively unchanged since its release in 1959 for still and motion picture use.
Recommended development:
CineStill D96 developer or Df96 Monobath is compatible with D-76, HC110 and all other black and white film developers.
Storage and handling: Load and unload film in subdued light. We recommend storing unexposed film in a refrigerator at 13?C (55?F) or lower in the original sealed package. To avoid moisture condensation on refrigerated film, allow the film to warm up to room temperature before opening the package. Process film as soon as possible after exposure. Protect processed film from strong light, and store it in a cool, dry place.
