Originally coated for aerial vegetation mapping, film Z offers nice contrast and green shades separation, making it perfect for lanscape photography that Washi has conveniently put into a camera shell for single use picture-taking.
Film Z is a panchromatic negative near infrared (up to 750nm) sensitive black & white film. Initially designed for aerial photography, Film Z is a perfect choice for landscapes, offering good separation of green shades and its high contrast and red sensitivity is ideal when you want to shoot under adverse light conditions. You never know what the weather would be like when you go out there...
HANDLING
The film is coated onto a polyester base and must be loaded and unloaded under subdued light to avoid light leaks. Once the film is loaded and the camera closed, it is best to shoot three times for nothing to prevent light leaks on your first pictures.
NO DX CODE, SORRY!
As Film Z is produced using recycled 135mm cartridges, there is no DX code available, and please use manual ISO setting.
