This new external drive from SanDisk sets itself apart from previous older external drive because being an SSD (Solid State Drive) it does not contain an optical disk.

This has two advantages that there are less moving parts to cause drive failure, but moreover, it's so much faster when it comes to read/write speeds.

With read speeds of up to 520 MB/s you'll find large files like RAW zip across from your camera or computer to the drive. With 4k video taking more file space you'll find that this back-up drive becomes the storage device of choice.

"Both the SSD's function OK. The 500 GB is perfectly satisfactory whilst the 480GB supplied as a substitute is a little bit of a disappointment as it is slower, has a lower capacity and I feel the build quality is a little lower and is of course the same price."

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
