Product Description

As black and white specialists, we often get asked for creative films and papers to enrich the art form that only monochrome work can offer. We recommend this film for the experimental photographer. Exposure is carried out using black filters and leads to results with an unusual tonal reproduction.

We like Rollei's IR400 Infrared film. It offers true IR sensitisation with very fine grain and capable of reversal processing and is the best value infrared film on the market. Develop with D76 or ID11.

It's a hyper-panchromatic black and white film with a nominal sensitivity of ISO 200/24 ?-400 / 27?. Rollei Infrared 400 is ideal for experimental photography, creative applications and scientific photography.

"Rollei Infrared is one of those stocks that you need to have a box handy at all times, just in case the perfect day with exciting skies pops up and you really have to make the best of it. Even with a Red or Orange filter the effects are extraordinary, and the full IR filter takes it to a new dimension, although you have to be very careful with focus - learn what that red dot is for on the lens barrel. This 4X5 version is the same stuff, although the Estar base is so thin it makes handling a little fiddly when processing, but used well it's a corker of a stock. No red dot on Large Format, so make yourself a small table and add as much stop as you can. You won't be disappointed."

Delivery
