Designed to be used without Multigrade filters, Liquid Light has an average contrast of about 3.0. We think of it like liquid photographic paper but for making prints onto wood, glass, ceramics, plastics, china, fabric, metal, rock and much more.

Liquid Light is natural to apply and is completely non-toxic and odour-free, making it the ideal choice for schools and colleges.

We're also pleased to announce that since mid-2019, Rockland has improved Liquid Light for greater adhesion, faster speed and higher contrast for all surfaces including tintypes. Ag-Plus that was needed for Tintypes is now replaced with Liquid Light.

So Liquid Light is now truly universal liquid emulsion for all applications.

Please note:

You should not use Rapid fixer (like that from Ilford) with this kit; it causes fading. Use hypo fixer with or without hardeners like the Adox A300 fixer or Kodak's Sodium Fixer.

Manufacturer’s Description

Use Liquid Light photographic emulsion for prints on wood, glass, ceramics, plastics, china, fabric, metal, rock, paper, artist's canvas, walls-- even an egg!

Printing with Liquid Light is the same as with black-and-white enlargement paper. Under amber or red safelight, brush the emulsion onto a surface. Expose with an enlarger or slide projector. Process with standard paper developer and fixer.

Prints are archivally-permanent with a full range of tones and transparent highlights that reveal the color and texture of the material underneath. Contrast is medium-high (about #3).

Coverage is approximately 1.5 square feet per ounce. No fumes, odors or VOC's-- Liquid Light is completely darkroom-safe

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
