The x33- Scan is a new film scanner that sets itself apart from competitors. It's stand-alone design means that you don't need a computer to use it. Unlike most other compact film scanners, it doesn't take a photo of the negative or slide.

It can digitize large quantities of slides and negatives in a high-quality but straightforward way. A CMOS sensor with 15.3 megapixels and Reflecta's Image Enhancement Technology IET ensure the highest image quality and brilliant colour reproduction. The scanner has a 5 inch IPS display with a wide viewing angle, making selecting, scanning, and playing back the images absolute. The x33-Scan digitizes an image in less than two seconds and saves it directly as JPEG files to an SD card. The enclosed holders enable the scanning of mounted slides with a thickness of up to 3.2 mm and 35mm film strips with up to six frames.

Colour Balance is automatic, too. You record the new digital image onto an SD card (not included), check the image on the picture on the 5-inch screen, and then adjust the exposure if required. Then review the digital image after only two seconds, and if OK, then save it to the card.

The resolution of the image created is 4608 x 3072 pixels. The operating time of the rechargeable battery of the scanner is 2 1/2 hours.

Afterwards, you can transfer images to the computer from the SD card using the supplied USB2.0 cable. There's also a cable to connect the unit to the TV.

Using the reflecta x7-Scan with 3200 dpi resolution, it is possible to scan with 14,0 megapixel besides films and slides also pocket films (110) and Instamaticfilms (126). The reflecta x7-Scan offers a 2.4 inch LCD-display, an integrated SD/SDHC card slot and a Lithium-Ion battery which allows using the scanner completely independent from a pc or power supply, respective as stand-alone scanner.

The scans are directly stored on a SD/SDHC card, and can then be viewed without problems on a digital photo frame or be transferred to a computer via the USB port and USB-cable.

The brightness can be adjusted quickly using the correction button. The enclosed software is for image editing only.
