Paterson has developed, in our view, the lighting sensation of 2019.

Their new LIT 400 LAMP consists of 48 bright light emitting LED's rated for upwards of 10,000 hours of use.
But the smart thing about this development is that it is firstly Edison Screw based (E27) which means it will go into any tungsten or fluorescent lamp holder but secondly, the light output equivalent of 500w makes it brighter than any LED array we have seen.

The result produces a daylight balanced light which enables any photographer or educational department to upgrade their existing lights (you unscrew the old lamp and replace it with the LIT 400) for less than ?50 a light. It's cool to the touch so no more Health & Safety issues either.

Another benefit of the new LIT 400 is that although it comes as a daylight (5000k) bulb, you can transform it quickly into a warmer Tungsten light with the use of the Tungsten cap that is included in every box.

This UK designed and manufactured circuit board is an excellent example of a product that outshines any Chinese competition and has the added benefit that because you can use the light with all voltages from 85 - 265v, it can be used in all power supplies around the world (110-240v).

It can even be used with the attachment of a battery pack to give truly portable, efficient and great value digital lighting and only uses twenty-one watts to produce 3300 lumens of light output.

If you would like to buy the new lamp in a brand-new kit, then Paterson has launched two inexpensive versions. The LIT500 is a single head stand with reflector and LIT400 while the LIT526 is a two head version that comes with a free carry bag included.
