Product Description

Unlike Teleconverters, Extension tubes are hollow metal rings that fit between your camera body and lens. As they are designed to enable a lens to focus closer than its normal set minimum focusing distance, they are exceptionally useful for macro photography.

Getting closer has the effect of magnifying your subject (making it appear larger in the viewfinder and your pictures) and this inexpensive tubes enable you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining its original optical quality.

This Kood Extension tube set contains three tubes of different length, a 7mm, 14 mm, and 28 mm, which can be used individually or in any combination to obtain the desired magnification. The set is compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S series lenses.

The greater the length of the extension tube, the closer the lens can focus. This set needs full manual control of the focusing, exposure and aperture settings that you use.

Also, when using any extension tube set, the lens on the camera will not focus at infinity, and the focusing range is reduced too. We tend to move the camera to get final focus (on a tripod) rather than the focusing ring on the lens. The final drawback is that when using extension tubes, there is, on average, a three-stop light loss when using the set together.
