The Ilford Educational VC Filter Set is designed for use with variable contrast photographic papers including llford Multigrade or Kentmere VC. They can be employed above or below the lens and cut to size to fit your enlarger's filter drawer.Simple to use, they offer a wide contrast range to obtain high quality prints from most negatives. They differ from Ilford sets in that they only have 6 full grade filters (no half grades).

"I am a newcomer to darkroom printing, so my remarks are limited by my lack of experience.
The appeal of these filters is the value for money. They are easy to cut to size with a knife or scissors, easy to use and demonstrate the impact of different filter grades on multi grade paper. I am pleased with them and recommend them. I have found that as they are very thin, that they can slip out of my filter holder. But that easily resolved."
