Product Description

Unique twin LED darkroom light

This unique new safelight from German maker Heiland, combines both red LEDs for safe darkroom work and white ones for viewing the final print. The single housing is held in a slim mounting holder.

Its clever design, in the shape of a light tube, is one metre in length with a simple switch to change the colours that also includes an integrated intensity adjustment to set the intensity to your working distance in the darkroom.

Perfectly safe for all black and white papers (not RA4 Colour though), it can be tilted too for wall or ceiling mounting.

"Brilliant. The only darkroom light you'll ever need."

"I use mine at about 1m above the enlarger easel. I was unable to turn the LEDs down low enough to be able to see the projected print on the easel, despite turning the safelight upwards towards to shine towards the ceiling. However, my enlarger timer (RH Stopclock Pro) has the ability to control the safelight, so when the enlarger is on the safelight is off and vice versa. The overall result is I can clearly see my enlargers projected image on the easel and I have a wonderfully illuminated darkroom. I would buy this safelight again."

"For the first time I can actually see my prints properly emerging in the developer. I use it within one metre of the trays at just over half power. No fogging visible after a 5 minute test. Please note that the unit is supplied with a continental mains connector. You with have to purchase a 13A adapter."

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
