Product Description

The principle element of Alternative Process printing was to use the sun's rays to react with paper once coated with emulsion - hence the name Printing-Out paper.

We sell 133 gsm A5 and 8 x 10 treated versions of this wonderful paper which requires no further chemical treatment, darkroom or photographic equipment. The A5 prints are only 33p each.

Simply place objects such as leaves, shells, flowers or textured patterns onto the surface and expose to sunlight. Exposure times vary depending on the season and intensity of the sun, but on a typical British sunny day allow 10-15 minutes for the paper to react.
After an exposure, wash in tap water for 30 seconds and wait for the image to appear.

"This works well when used outside under glass in sun. Just a note of caution when very hot weather the fresh plant items created some condensation under the glass so gave a slightly different rendition. Like the fact that you can print on both sides and then scan in. If you want to use the actual image created then that is of little value."

Delivery
