Product Description

The advantage of our own range of sinks is that they are easily repairable should you damage them. Your local carpenter can construct a frame around them to have a freestanding option if it is difficult to fit one into a work surface.

They are hand made in top quality glass reinforced polyester (glass fibre) resulting in an excellent surface finish that is easy to maintain and is resistant to most chemicals and water up to a temperature of 90 degrees C. The Ampro 69 and 80 are specially designed to incorporate deep print wash areas and shallow process areas.

Manufacturer's description

Designed for the serious amateur and professional users, the sink has features that make it very efficient to use. The main working area (123 x 62.5 cm / 48 x 24.5 inches) is large enough for dishes up to 12 x 16 inches. An adjacent deep tank has a unique syphon drain system to aid print washing.
Cross-contamination is prevented by an anti-spill lip between the wet bench and print washing area. This sink has 30mm wide flanges with a deep return 25mm edge.

"Sink construction appears excellent. It has a high quality smooth white finish. The area to the left of the deep section can easily accommodate 3 large trays ( 12x16 in my case) but 16x20 would work fine too. I’ve constructed a 25cm width drainer to take a 4th tray ( hypo removal agent) . The deep sink allows prints to rinse without fear of contamination from the area to the left as it can drain separately. It’s flexible enough to suit most small darkroom set ups I’d have thought. Highly recommended "

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
