The Printmaker 35mm is a condenser model that allows you to upgrade to 6 x7cm with a conversion kit at a later stage if required. Just like the Cadet, it comes with good quality lens, lens-board and negative carrier all included.
It is designed from the factory to support 35mm film and black & white printing only. However, it can be adapted to handle the same film formats as the Printmaker 67 by purchasing the conversion kit available. This kit comes with the two larger condensers (only for black & white printing), which replace the smaller single condenser the item comes with initially.
The Printmaker's is the next step up in the Beseler family but this model is still compact in size includes the same counterbalanced elevation system featured throughout the range.
The white laminated baseboard allows enlargements up to 11 x 14 inches but if bigger enlargements are required you can simply reverse the column for printing onto the floor. The Printmaker has a one-metre high column. It also includes a novel focus knob which can be attached for either left or right-handed users.
Standard equipment includes a 35mm negative carrier, filter drawer for 3 inches (89mm) variable contrast filters and high-quality optical glass condenser included. It takes normal P/3ES 75-watt bulbs and although made in the USA it uses European 230/240v output electrics and comes with a fitted 3 pin UK plug.
The Printmaker now performs better than ever.
The Printmaker's compact size makes it perfect for small darkrooms, temporary darkrooms or portable darkrooms. It can produce prints up to 11 in x 14 in on the baseboard or much larger when reversing the column and projecting on the floor.
Additional features include a focus knob which can be attached for either left or right handed use, a built in elevation scale and a below the lens filter holder.
