Product Description

Part of our Eco Range of developing chemicals, that we specially created for safer use in schools and colleges, this universal stop bath is based on citric acid and is specifically formulated for all black and white film and paper use as it stops the action of the developer immediately.

Being odourless and less harmful than normal acetic acid (free from PBT/vPvB chemicals), this stop is a lot more eco-friendly than normal.

The stop bath helps to reduce the contamination of the fixer and thereby prolong the life of fixer bath. It also includes an indicator to show when it is exhausted.

500ml of concentrate is diluted 1+19 for film or paper with film taking 40-60 seconds to complete its action.makes 10 litres and contains a purple dye showing when the stop bath is exhausted.
