Product Description

Designed to meet the needs of schools colleges and darkroom enthusiasts, this budget price enlarger fills the gap left by the disappearance of other brands of inexpensive enlargers.

These rugged enlargers will give many years' service and can be relied upon to give excellent results.

The enlarger is supplied without a lens but it suggested that it is bought with either our own 50mm lens for 35mm work, or if you want to work in medium format, the 75mm version.
Uniquely at this price, the Paterson Universal enlarger accepts 35mm and 6x6cm negatives and is supplied (ready to go) with both 35mm & 6x6 glassless masks. It's a solid build too as it's constructed from virtually all metal.

Capable of enlarging up to 12 x 16 inch on the baseboard, the flexibility continues as the head can be rotated through 90? for wall projection (and the production of larger prints or liquid emulsion shots). Equally, you can rotate the column for floor projection too. With a geared 75cm column, built-in filter drawer for multigrade work and red swing filter it's a complete enlarging package. It is supplied with 75 watt Quartz enlarger lamp.

"I bought this from Firstcall 3 years ago, but have only just got around to using it! On the whole it's a well-made, solid enlarger, which looks as though it should last. But who designed the negative carrier with no guides? A 35mm film strip slides all over the place, and the hinges push a 120 film strip towards the user! Serious work with a file ensued! Well worth the money, though. As usual, great service from Firstcall. "
