Product Description

Intrepid's Enlarger is an attachment that turns any 4?5 camera into a darkroom enlarger and negative digitiser. Firstcall is privileged to represent this great British company in the education market.

The Intrepid Enlarger is a simple, small lightbox that fits the back of the Intrepid 4x5 Camera (or almost any other 4x5 camera) and attaches using the Graflok clips included. You then mount the unit to any standard copystand or low-level tripod (saving cost on a separate column and baseboard). It's so compact and lightweight that it could fit in a coat pocket; use it in your bathroom, darkroom or anywhere you can squeeze into it and make it dark.

The Second Generation has the following improvements over the first model:
Designed for making prints from colour film as well as black & white
Additional scan mode for digitising your negatives with a DSLR
Filters for colour balance and contrast are built into the light source and controlled on the timer (no need for external filters)
USB port for future firmware updates
Built-in safelight, useful for those with limited space

The light source plugs into the timer to control exposure times and then into the mains. You also get swappable carriers for film, a multigrade filter holder, and a lens board for mounting your enlarger lenses in the kit.

Enlargers can make prints from 4x5, 120, and 35mm film.

The Intrepid Enlarger can be folded and tucked away when you have completed your printing. In addition, it's so portable that you can bring it with you on trips to do darkroom work on the go.

Outside a darkroom, you can also use the lightbox to create high-quality scans from your film using a camera, tripod, and computer/smartphone.

The standard kit comes with:

Intrepid Enlarger Timer - to accurately control exposure time
Multigrade filter holder - clips to your lens for use with Ilford Multigrade 8.9cm contrast filters

12v Power supply - all orders outside the UK will include international plug adapters

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
