Featuring enhanced high-pass optics that deliver the highest level of image quality with faster scan speeds, the V850 Pro can convert a wide range of media and film formats into professional-quality digital images. This high-productivity
6400dpi scanner requires virtually no warm-up time, can remove dust and scratches automatically and includes two sets of highquality film holders.

Choice of resolution
The V850 Pro features a dual lens system that automatically selects the optimal lens, with up to 4800dpi optical resolution for photo scanning and 6400dpi when scanning using film holders.

Scan from any source
Scan a range of film formats in sharp focus thanks to the improved quality film holders with their adjustable height control and rigid design. The V850 Pro also supports film formats up to 8x10 inch when placed directly on the scanner glass.

High productivity
Epson's ReadyScan LED light source has a warm up time of less than one second, so scanning can start almost instantly. Two sets of film holders means you can prepare a second set of orginals for scanning while the first is still
scanning.

Cleans-up images
Digital ICE Technologies automatically removes imperfections such as dust, hair, scratches and fingerprints from both film1 and photos to restore images to their former glory with the minimum of effort.

The right tone
Take advantage of excellent tone reproduction with 4.0 DMax optical density.The V850 Pro can detect the exact tonal range of the original, making sure the brightest and darkest areas of images are accurately reproduced to reveal impressive detail and dynamic range.

Professional software
As well as Epson Scan, the V850 Pro comes with SilverFast SE Plus 8 and i1 Scanner software for advanced, professional scanning features.

The V850 automatically selects which of its two lenses to use from the desired scan resolution.

Users can select in the Epson software whether they want to use the software in
* Full Auto Mode
* Home Mode
* Office Mode
* Professional Mode (which has a range of optimization options).

There are 8 film holders included, each one twice:
* 35mm film strips (24 frames)
* 35mm slides (12 frames)
* 120/220, 6cm x 20cm (2-6 frames)
* 4 x 5 inch film (2 frames)

The Dmax value of 4.0 enables you to record all the detail in print film (D-max values up to 2.0) and slide film (D-max value of 3.5 - only Velvia has a density of 4.0).

The Fluid Mount accessory for wet mount film scanning (dimensions of 203x254mm) is not included. Wet mount scanning can improve the sharpness, detail and contrast of Black and White images compared to dry scanning.

The wet scanning process takes a little longer than dry scanning, as you apply scanning fluid (not included) to the glass mount, followed by a smoothing out of any bubbles.The film is then held perfectly in position for optimum focusing and scratches and imperfections are filled by the liquid, which incidentally cleans the film and evaporates after use.

Delivery

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £7.99 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. The companies we use are DPD or DHL and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch.
