The Pixapro Wall Mounted Scissor Boom is a practical space-saving solution for studios where floor space is limited or where a light needs to stay in a fixed, repeatable position. It mounts securely to a solid wall or hard surface, allowing you to position a light, modifier or accessory overhead, to the side, or out of the way without using a traditional floor stand.

With a universal 5/8" spigot and 3/8" screw thread, it is compatible with a wide range of studio lights, flashes and accessories. It is especially useful for hair lights, overhead lighting, clamshell, butterfly and passport photography setups, as well as video, stage and small studio work.

Space-Saving Studio Mounting

Once fixed to a solid wall or surface, the scissor boom gives you a stable mounting point without taking up floor space. This makes it ideal for studios where light stands would otherwise get in the way.

Flexible Positioning

The boom extends up to 120cm from the wall and collapses down to approximately 15cm when not in use. It can rotate up to 180°, allowing you to swing the light into position for shooting and move it neatly out of the way afterwards.

Adjustable Height and Reach

The two-section riser extends from 48cm to 80cm, while the boom can also be moved up and down the 120cm main column. This gives you useful flexibility when positioning your light above, below or around the camera position.

Universal Light Mounting

The stand uses a universal 5/8" spigot with a 3/8" screw thread, making it suitable for many studio lights, flashes, modifiers and accessories from a wide range of brands.
