The Negative Supply Simple 35 Film Scanning System is an affordable and compact starting point for scanning 35mm film with a digital camera. Designed for cut strips or full rolls, it combines the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2, Light Source 35, and Stabilising Mask to create a simple, high-quality workflow for scanning at home, in the studio, or on the go.
System Compatibility Notes
This system includes the film carrier, light source, and stabilising mask needed for the film handling and illumination side of a 35mm camera scanning setup. To complete the system, you will need a digital camera with a suitable macro lens, plus a copy stand or tripod to hold the camera securely above the film. The Light Source 35 is powered by the included USB cable, and requires a suitable USB power adapter or USB power source.
The Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 supports half-frame, standard 35mm, and panoramic formats using the included masks. It can also be expanded with optional cassettes for 110, 126, APS, and Minox film, as well as the optional 35mm Full Border Scanning Cassette for scanning sprockets and film edges. The carrier also includes provision for adding the optional 35mm Film Scanning Hood.
