The Negative Supply Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 with Pro Mount MK2 combines Negative Supply’s advanced 35mm film carrier with a sturdy, adjustable mounting platform for a more controlled camera scanning workflow. This kit is ideal for users who want smooth film advancement, precise alignment and added stability when digitising 35mm film with a digital camera.
The Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 builds on the proven design of the original Pro Film Carrier 35, while adding a more modular system for photographers, labs and users working with multiple film formats. Its interchangeable roller module system allows the carrier to support alternative formats with the correct accessories, including 35mm half frame, 35mm panoramic, 35mm full border, 110, APS, 126 and Minox subminiature film.
Included custom masks allow 35mm half-frame through to panoramic frames to be scanned in a single capture. The film gate is preset at the factory and can be adjusted to help compensate for film drift from frame to frame, giving more consistent framing across a roll of 35mm film.
The updated transport mechanism uses more efficient rollers and a refined smooth-running bearing system to keep film tight, flat and moving cleanly through the carrier. Its steel and carbon composite frame provides the durability required for frequent scanning, making it a strong choice for serious home users, archives and professional workflows.
The included Pro Mount MK2 helps level the film scanning plane when working on uneven surfaces. It also adds support for Negative Supply’s anti-static dust removal brush, allowing film to pass through the brush before scanning for a cleaner workflow.
System Compatibility Notes
The Negative Supply Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 with Pro Mount MK2 is compatible with existing Pro Film Carrier 35 accessories, including compatible cassettes and the 35mm Scanning Hood. The previous Pro Film Carrier 35 Adapter Plate for Light Source Pro, Light Source Basic and Light Source Mini is not compatible with this MK2 carrier. Use the updated adapter plate when mounting to compatible Negative Supply light sources.
