The Negative Supply Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 with Pro Mount MK2 is a professional medium format film scanning kit designed for fast, stable and precise camera scanning. It pairs the redesigned Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 with the Pro Mount MK2, giving you a more secure platform for keeping your film scanning plane level and consistent.
The Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 has been redesigned from the ground up to make medium format scanning simpler, smoother and more modular. It uses an improved double S-curve film path to keep 120 film flat without the need for a complex hinge mechanism, helping produce sharp, consistent scans across cut strips or full uncut rolls.
The carrier includes an interchangeable, magnetically engaging cassette system that can be removed without additional tools or hardware. The standard 120 cassette shows the full image area and is supplied with masks for 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7 and 6x9cm formats, allowing a wide range of medium format negatives and transparencies to be scanned cleanly and accurately.
With its updated transport mechanism, efficient rollers and refined smooth-running bearing system, the Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 provides tight, flat and smooth film advancement with reduced drift from frame to frame. It can scan up to 6x9cm frames in a single image capture, while panoramic 120 film can be scanned by stitching two or more captures.
The included Pro Mount MK2 helps level the film scanning plane when working on uneven surfaces. It also supports Negative Supply’s anti-static dust removal brush, allowing film to pass through the brush before scanning for a cleaner and more efficient workflow.
System Compatibility Notes
The Negative Supply Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 with Pro Mount MK2 is designed for use with the Pro Mount MK2 and compatible Negative Supply light source setups. An optional adapter plate can be used to help stabilise the carrier on compatible light sources while masking stray light from below. The optional 120 Film Scanning Hood is also compatible and has been redesigned with a press-fit hood and adapter for quick installation without additional tools or hardware.
