Negative Supply Minox/Subminiature Film Scanning Cassette (for Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 or Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2)
The Negative Supply Minox/Subminiature Film Scanning Cassette is designed to make scanning Minox and other subminiature film formats faster and easier with compatible Negative Supply 35mm film carriers. It provides a correctly sized film path for these small-format negatives, helping you digitise Minox film more accurately than trying to adapt a standard 35mm scanning setup.
Minox is a specialist micro film format with a dedicated following, and it is also an important format for archives and collections that need to digitise older or less common film materials. This cassette allows users of compatible Negative Supply carriers to add Minox scanning capability to their existing system without needing a completely separate carrier.
The cassette is designed to be swapped into your existing carrier, replacing the standard cassette with one sized specifically for Minox and subminiature film. It works best with longer strips of film, especially strips of 12 frames or more, for smoother handling and easier positioning during scanning.
System Compatibility Notes
The Negative Supply Minox/Subminiature Film Scanning Cassette requires a compatible Negative Supply 35mm carrier, such as the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 or Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2. The required carrier is not included. It may also be used with the original Pro Film Carrier 35, but the film will need to be hand fed through the cassette. On the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2, the advance mechanism will not advance Minox film unless used with the separate APS Film Advance Module, which is sold separately.
