The Negative Supply Basic Riser MK3 is a robust and versatile copy stand designed to provide a stable foundation for camera-based film scanning. As a significant upgrade over the previous MK2 version, it offers increased height, improved rigidity, and a solid steel base, making it suitable for a wide range of camera and macro lens combinations, from compact mirrorless setups through to larger professional systems.
System Compatibility Notes
This riser is designed to form the core of a Negative Supply camera scanning setup, supporting your digital camera above a compatible light source and film carrier system. It pairs seamlessly with Negative Supply light sources and film carriers and is compatible with most DSLR, mirrorless, and many medium format digital cameras. The Basic Riser MK3 supports camera and lens combinations up to a 105mm full-frame equivalent focal length when scanning 120 (medium format) film. For heavier or gripped camera bodies, or users requiring additional height, a larger riser such as the Basic Riser XL may be more suitable.
