Simply add a suitable light source and a copy stand or tripod, and you are ready to begin scanning cut strips or full rolls.
Included in this combo are the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2. Together, they provide a flexible entry into the Negative Supply system, making this a great choice for anyone starting their film scanning journey, upgrading from earlier MK1 carriers or building a more efficient camera scanning workflow for multiple film formats.
System Compatibility Notes
The Basic Film Carrier 35/120 MK2 Combo is designed for camera scanning workflows and requires a suitable light source plus a copy stand or tripod. The included Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 work well with Negative Supply Basic Riser copy stands and compatible Negative Supply light sources such as the 4x5 Light Source Basic MK2 and Light Source Mini. Some accessories, including stabilising masks, full border scanning cassettes and scanning hoods, are sold separately.
Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2
The Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 is designed for scanning cut strips or uncut rolls of 35mm film with speed and consistency. Its redesigned cassette uses improved double S-curve channels to help keep film flat, tight and smoothly guided through the carrier, reducing drift and supporting sharp, repeatable scans.
