Negative Supply 127 Film Scanning Cassette (for Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 or Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2)
The Negative Supply 127 Film Scanning Cassette adds 127 film scanning capability to compatible Negative Supply 120 MK2 film carriers. It is designed for photographers, collectors and archives working with this less common film format, allowing 127 strips and rolls to be scanned within an existing Negative Supply camera scanning setup.
This cassette replaces the standard cassette in a compatible Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 or Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2, creating a film path sized specifically for 127 film. It is ideal for bringing older 127 negatives and transparencies into a modern digital workflow without needing to improvise with a standard 120 carrier.
127 film was once a popular format and is still found in many archives, collections and vintage camera workflows. This cassette makes it easier to shoot, scan and preserve 127 film using Negative Supply’s current-generation modular carrier system.
The cassette is designed to be quick to swap into place and works best with longer strips of film, ideally 4 frames or more. When paired with the optional 127 Film Advance Module and Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2, it can support precise mechanical film advancement.
System Compatibility Notes
The Negative Supply 127 Film Scanning Cassette requires the Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2, Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2, or another Negative Supply carrier that uses the same cassette system. The required carrier is sold separately. It is not compatible with previous-generation 120 carrier models, including the Basic Film Carrier 120 or Film Carrier 120. The optional 127 Film Advance Module is sold separately and is not included.
