The Negative Supply 126 Film Scanning Cassette allows you to scan 126 film using a compatible Negative Supply 35mm film carrier. It is designed for photographers, collectors and archives working with this less common film format, providing a simple way to add 126 scanning to an existing Negative Supply setup.
126 film is still found in many family archives and vintage camera collections, despite being a less widely used format today. This cassette creates a film path that is properly sized for 126 film, helping you scan these negatives more cleanly and consistently than trying to adapt a standard 35mm opening.
The cassette is designed to be swapped into your existing compatible carrier, replacing the standard cassette with one sized specifically for 126 film. It works best with longer strips of film, ideally 6 frames or more, for smoother handling and easier positioning during scanning.
System Compatibility Notes
The Negative Supply 126 Film Scanning Cassette requires a compatible Negative Supply 35mm carrier, such as the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 or Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2. The required carrier is not included. It may also be used with the original Pro Film Carrier 35, but the film must be advanced by hand.
