We consider Dektol as Kodak's standard paper developer. Now available only in powder form, it is a high capacity black and white print developer designed for tray processing and all ancillary work like photo emulsion work.

It renders neutral to warm-black image tones in standard processing but is also is capable of producing cool tones with cool-tone paper.

You dilute it 1+2 to get your working solution, and the packet makes a total of 3.8 litres or one gallon of this solution to use.

The powder will last indefinitely, but if made up as a concentrate, it would last six months in a tightly capped bottle or eight weeks as a half bottle of working solution.
