Jacquard Inkjet Fabric Sheets allow you to print your own images directly onto real cotton fabric using a standard inkjet printer. Whether you are working with photographs, illustrations, or digital designs, these sheets make it easy to bring your ideas into physical, textile-based projects. Each sheet is paper-backed so it feeds through your printer just like normal paper, then peels away cleanly after printing.
Made from 100% cotton percale, these sheets offer a natural look and feel that works beautifully for quilting, mixed media, craft projects, and creative photography applications. Unlike iron-on transfers, this is actual fabric, giving a more authentic and tactile result.
This is a really accessible way to bridge digital and hands-on making. Being able to print directly onto fabric opens up a lot of creative possibilities, from personalised textile work to incorporating photographic elements into mixed media pieces. It is particularly useful for students and workshops, where the process is straightforward but the results feel genuinely creative.
It is worth noting that results will vary depending on your printer and ink, so a bit of testing goes a long way. Once dialled in, though, the quality can be surprisingly good for something that runs through a standard desktop printer.
Before printing, it is recommended to run a test on plain paper to check image alignment and orientation. Adjust your printer settings to increase ink coverage for stronger results, matte or watercolour paper settings usually work well. Load the fabric sheet into your printer and print as normal.
Once printed, peel the fabric away from the paper backing and allow it to dry fully before handling. A dry iron or heat press can help speed up drying. For best results, allow at least 24 hours before rinsing or further processing.
Printed images are not fully washfast, and results will vary depending on the ink used. A wash test is strongly recommended. For improved durability, prints can be treated with a product such as Print Guard™, applied in light coats. Finished pieces can be sewn into projects or bonded using fusible materials.
Care should be taken when washing. Gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended if treated, and testing is advised before committing important work to washing or dry cleaning.
