Square Photos with Room for More
instax SQUARE film produces a balanced 1:1 image that gives your subject room to breathe while capturing more of the surroundings. It is a great format for portraits, groups, still life and creative compositions.
Automatic Exposure and Flash
The SQUARE 2 automatically controls exposure and flash to help produce bright, natural-looking photographs in a variety of lighting conditions. There is no need to adjust complicated settings, making it easy to concentrate on the moment in front of you.
Three Focus Modes
A quick turn of the lens lets you choose the right focus range for your subject:
-
Close-up: 30cm to 50cm
-
Standard: 50cm to 3m
-
Landscape: 3m to infinity
This makes it easy to move from close-up details and selfies to everyday photographs and wider landscapes.
Selfies Made Simple
Close-up mode pairs with a built-in selfie mirror to help you frame yourself and your friends more confidently. The square format also gives group selfies extra room, so you can include more of the people and surroundings in the shot.
Warm and Cool Mood Filters
Give your instant photographs a different feel using the built-in Mood Filters. Select Warm for a subtle golden tone, Cool for a crisp blue-toned look, or switch the filter off for the classic instax colour appearance.
Simple Twist-to-Operate Design
The intuitive lens control makes changing between shooting modes quick and straightforward. Combined with automatic exposure, the SQUARE 2 is designed to let you move between indoor and outdoor photography without getting distracted by complicated camera settings.
Designed to Stand Out
From its striped lens detailing and textured grip to its clean sculpted body, the SQUARE 2 combines practical handling with a distinctive modern design. It is available in Slate Blue, Brick Red and Misty White finishes.
