This Cyanotype solution is a replacement for the Cyanotype sensitizer supplied in the original Fotospeed Cyanotype Kit. It is in a single working solution, based on Ammonium Ferric Oxalate which gives a good blue which will not wash out and is twice as sensitive to ultra violet lights as the historic alternative process version.


Development, as in all Cyanotype processes is simply done in water. A citric acid (Stop bath) solution can be used to manipulate contrast.


All images are made by the contact system, where the image depends on a negative of the appropriate size or the placement of an object on the sensitised material.

Most orders incur a total order delivery charge of £9 including VAT for mainland UK delivery. All goods are shipped by courier services. We use UPS and parcels are delivered in 48 hours or sooner from date of despatch. Exceptions to this, including lower delivery charges, can be found in our Shipping Policy.
