Firstcall Photo Décor Smooth Art Matte is a 210gsm, museum-quality fine art inkjet paper with a natural white tone and a smooth, subtly textured matte surface. Designed for high-volume photographic and fine art printing, it combines an elegant finish with excellent detail reproduction and dependable colour performance.
Made from an acid and lignin-free alpha cellulose base, the paper is well suited to open edition prints, photographic work, art reproductions and albums. Its aqueous matte coating is compatible with both pigment and dye-based inkjet printers and is designed to deliver excellent colour gamut, deep blacks and crisp detail.
Décor Smooth Art is a great choice when you want a refined fine art look without moving into a heavier, highly textured paper. The natural white base gives prints a softer, more traditional appearance, while the smooth surface preserves fine detail beautifully. It is particularly well suited to photographers, artists and print shops producing larger volumes of high-quality work.
The paper has a natural white tone with no optical brightening agents, helping prints retain a refined and balanced appearance. Its velvet-smooth matte surface has a very subtle texture, giving photographs and artwork character without distracting from fine detail.
The smooth surface helps preserve small details and fine lines, making Décor Smooth Art particularly effective for artwork reproduction, photography and restoration work. Its matte coating is designed to produce an excellent colour gamut and strong D-max for deep, rich blacks.
Made from alpha cellulose, Décor Smooth Art is acid and lignin free and designed to meet archival fine art printing requirements. It is also ArtSure™ approved, making it suitable for professional print applications where material quality and longevity are important.
The aqueous inkjet coating is compatible with both pigment and dye-based ink systems, giving you flexibility across a wide range of photographic and fine art printers.
The coating is designed for fast ink absorption and instant-dry handling. For best long-term results, however, Innova recommends leaving finished prints open to the air for approximately 24 hours before stacking, mounting or placing them into archival storage.
Matte Photo Paper or Enhanced Matte Paper settings are recommended as a starting point. For the most accurate colour reproduction, use an appropriate ICC profile for your printer and ink combination where available.
Fine art inkjet papers should be handled carefully by the edges to avoid marking the printable surface. Cotton gloves are recommended where appropriate. Return unused paper to its original packaging and store finished prints using archival-quality materials.
For storage, keep the paper away from direct sunlight and moisture at approximately 15–20°C and 40–60% relative humidity. When dry mounting, do not exceed 82°C.
