ADOX ADOFIX P II Powder Fixer
ADOX ADOFIX P II is an acidic universal express fixer for black and white films and photographic papers. Based on ammonium thiosulphate, it combines the fast fixing performance of an express fixer with the excellent storage and transport advantages of a powder chemical.
Unlike a liquid concentrate that needs further dilution, ADOFIX P II is mixed directly with water to produce the final working solution. Once mixed, the solution remains usable for at least six weeks when stored appropriately.

Universal Express Fixer
ADOFIX P II can be used with most conventional black and white films and photographic papers. Its ammonium thiosulphate formulation provides the faster action associated with an express fixer while remaining suitable for both film and paper processing.
ADOX CAPTURA Technology
This second-generation formulation features ADOX CAPTURA Dust Binding technology. It helps the powder dissolve more quickly while greatly reducing the dust and odour normally associated with mixing powdered photographic chemicals.
The powder itself has also been made more homogeneous than the original ADOFIX P formulation, helping reduce clumping during preparation.
Simple Direct Mixing
Mix the complete contents of the powder pack with water to make the stated final volume of working solution. The resulting solution is ready to use and should not be diluted any further.
Excellent Storage Life
One of the major advantages of powder chemistry is its storage stability before mixing. ADOFIX P II is supplied in an aluminium compound pouch designed to protect the powder and extend its shelf life.
Once mixed, the working solution remains usable for at least six weeks when stored correctly.
Capacity
One litre of working solution has a quoted capacity of approximately:
- 10 rolls of 35mm film
- 1.5 to 2m² of photographic paper
Actual capacity will depend on the materials being processed and your working conditions.
