The Phottix T200R is a compact and versatile RGB LED tube light, designed for photographers, videographers and content creators who want portable, accurate lighting with plenty of creative control. With a high colour rendering index (CRI 96 / TLCI 98), a wide colour temperature range, and full RGB adjustment, it’s a small but powerful tool for both studio and location work.

Why We Like It

This light strikes a nice balance between portability and performance. At just over 30cm long and weighing only 270g, it slips easily into a camera bag yet delivers excellent colour accuracy for both stills and video. The built-in magnets are handy for quick setups on location, especially when you want to avoid stands cluttering your scene. The 21 preset lighting effects can be useful for video production, but we also find the full 0–360° hue control great for adding subtle splashes of colour into creative portraits or product shots. The built-in rechargeable battery offers around 115 minutes at full power, which is more than enough for most short sessions, though for longer shoots it’s worth having a USB power bank close to hand.
