Firstcall Resin Coated Photo Satin 260gsm
Firstcall Resin Coated Photo Satin is a heavyweight 260gsm inkjet photo paper with a smooth satin finish and a particularly bright white base. Designed for photographic printing, portfolios and presentation work, it combines vivid colour, crisp detail and a refined low-glare surface with the substantial feel of traditional photographic paper.
This paper has a noticeably brighter white base than our Firstcall Heavyweight Satin (Olmec), giving prints a cleaner, brighter appearance with particularly crisp whites and vibrant colour. Its resin-coated alpha cellulose base and microporous surface also provide fast ink absorption and useful water resistance.

Why We Like It
Satin is often the sweet spot between gloss and matte, giving photographs plenty of depth and colour without the stronger reflections of a high-gloss surface. What really sets this paper apart from our regular Heavyweight Satin is the brighter white base, which gives colourful photographs, clean studio work and black and white images a noticeably fresher appearance.
It is also available in larger sheet packs and wide-format rolls, making the range particularly useful for studios, colleges and photographers producing prints in volume.

Bright White for Clean, Vibrant Prints

Compared with Firstcall Heavyweight Satin (Olmec), this paper has a noticeably brighter white base, making it particularly well suited to images where a fresh, punchy appearance is preferred.
Smooth Satin Surface
The smooth satin finish provides a refined photographic look with less glare than a full gloss paper. It works especially well for portraits, landscapes, wedding photographs and portfolio prints where you want rich colour and tonal depth without a highly reflective surface.
Resin and Microporous Coated
The alpha cellulose photo base is resin coated and finished with a microporous ink-receiving surface. This helps the paper absorb ink quickly while retaining fine detail, sharp edges and strong colour reproduction.
Heavyweight Photographic Feel
At 260gsm, the paper has a substantial weight that gives finished prints a professional feel. The resin-coated construction also gives it the smooth handling characteristics associated with traditional photographic papers.
Water Resistant
