This scanning hood securely mounts to your Pro Film Carrier 35 or Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and reduces glare when scanning in well-lit rooms, helping to reduce ambient light glare/bleed and increasing contrast in scans. If you have a room with plenty of window light or many overhead lights, this hood will prevent excess light from bleeding onto your scans.

We also sell a Film Carrier 35 Scanning Hood Extension as a special order item. This extension adds 3.25in to allow you to shield more ambient light when using longer focal length lenses (100mm+ full frame equivalent lenses generally).

This hood is only compatible with the Pro Film Carrier 35 and Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2.
