DragonFilm No. VI Black and White Film ISO 64 135-24
DragonFilm No. VI is a fine-grained, high-resolution black and white 35mm film manufactured in Ukraine. With a recommended rating of ISO 64 and a usable range from ISO 32 to ISO 100, it delivers exceptional sharpness and smooth tonality, making it an excellent choice for bright conditions, controlled lighting, and slower, more deliberate shooting.
Why We Like It
This is a beautifully controlled film that really shines when you slow things down. DragonFilm No. VI offers impressive resolving power with very fine grain, making it ideal for landscapes, architecture, and studio work where detail matters. It responds well to careful exposure and rewards tripod use, smaller apertures, and longer shutter speeds. The tonal rendering is smooth and refined, which also makes it a strong option for traditional darkroom printing. As with other DragonFilm stocks, it requires a bit of care when loading, and film changes should always be done in subdued light due to light piping.
