The quality of the enlarging lens that you choose directly affects the quality of your final print, regardless of the technological excellence of your choice of enlarger (or camera, for that matter). So trying to find value for money takes a lot of work. It does follow that, in our experience, you 'get what you pay for when buying enlarger lenses.

However, with our budget-enlarging lens no longer available we've decided to turn to good second-hand lenses to fulfil this demand.

Availabilty is the key and we try and source either Schneider, Durst or Minolta.
