Our SV-3 is a desktop slide viewer with 3x-magnification glass lens. It comes complete with a collection tray for viewed slides. Its lamp source is a 5000k 'daylight' LED lamp.

The SV-3 includes a 1.5 metre USB cable, which provides power to the viewer.  This can plug into a PC, laptop, phone charger, etc. and then into the “adaptor” socket of the SV-3.

Effectively, this eliminates the need for batteries, however, batteries are still an option if you still desires that portability.

This reliable method of viewing slides or negatives is definitively to be recommended in favour of traditional tungsten equipment.
