Moersch Easy Lith Two-Part Lith Developer Concentrate

Moersch Easy Lith is a two-part lith film and paper developer designed for photographers who want to explore the distinctive colours and infectious development of lith printing without the complexity of heavily tuned formulas. Supplied as separate Part A and Part B concentrates, it offers flexible dilution from 1+15 to 1+30, allowing you to mix anything from small test trays to large darkroom sessions with consistent, repeatable results.

Why We Like It

Easy Lith is a great starting point for anyone curious about lith printing. It gives you the characteristic warm highlights, gritty shadows and strong colour separation, but without the need for additional additives or complicated mixing routines. It is particularly well suited to current Fomatone and Foma Retrobrom papers, where development times can be kept short and controllable, helping to avoid issues such as mottling or the “snowball” effect seen with long lith developments. For students and educational darkrooms, the wide dilution range makes it economical and easy to scale, while still giving enough control to fine-tune contrast, colour and development time as experience grows.
