The FOMA Ortho 400 is a highly sensitive (ISO 400/27°), orthochromatic sensitised black and white negative film.

According to Foma, it is characterised by a wide exposure latitude from Exposure Index (EI) 160/23° to 1600/33°. It also has an extended green sensitisation.
The film is particularly suitable for landscape photography as well as for artistic portraits with the darker skin tone rendition characteristic of orthochromatic films.

The Foma Ortho 400 is a significantly higher sensitivity alternative to the otherwise low to medium sensitivity ortho films on the market.
