Easy-to-Use Photo Sensitive Dyes (No Darkroom Necessary!)
Here it is! The newest and most creative product of the year! Inkodye is taking the photographic and art market by storm. This photo sensitive VAT dye can be coated onto cotton, silk, suede, paper, wood, leather or just about any natural porous material. Just coat in subdued light (no darkroom necessary), expose to sunlight/UV and wash. The inventors worked on the premise that photographs should not be limited to a page or frame – but be lived with, cared for and last forever. Inkodye by Lumi is photography you can touch. It is currently available in three colours (blue, red and orange) and we highly recommend this easy-to-use product for beginners and professionals alike. We like to think of it as Liquid Light in colours but easier to use. Produced in California, USA, Inkodye can be used to create photograms, shadow prints, painting, dyeing, silk-screening, batik and more! Expose your design to sunlight and watch the colour appear! It is set permanently once exposed. Wash out unexposed dye in hot soapy water and agitate vigorously.
From a photography point of view, there has never been an easier way to produce a print from a negative. Take a large format negative (use our A4 inkjet transparencies code 19176), coat your receptor with Inkodye, lay your negative on top, leave in the sun for around 10 minutes and peel away the negative to produce the “photographic” print. Firstcall is one of the first retailers in the UK for you to try this new and exciting medium. Available in three mixable colours: Blue, Orange and Red. To get you started we recommend you get all three in a starter kt. The kit has a special price of only £29.99 including VAT for three of the four ounce (118ml) bottles. Replacement 4 oz. bottles sell for £10 each with the 16 oz. versions (473ml) costing around £30.
